  ARAI (Association for Responsible AI) is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting, developing, and implementing ethical, safe, and human-centered artificial intelligence. We ensure AI technologies uphold the principles of transparency, fairness, accountability, and human rights, while fostering innovation and societal progress.

ARAI unites experts, researchers, technologists, policymakers, business leaders, and communities to build an AI ecosystem that contributes to social inclusion, economic development, and collective well-being.

The Association for Responsible AI (ARAI) was officially founded on November 4, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio, United States by a diverse group of professionals representing multiple countries and disciplines. The founders shared a common concern: as artificial intelligence rapidly expanded across industries, there was an urgent need for clear ethical guidelines, responsible governance, and frameworks that protect human dignity and social well-being.

As AI technologies increasingly influenced decisions in healthcare, justice systems, hiring, education, security, and public administration, risks related to bias, privacy, safety, and fairness became more visible. The founding members recognized that the world needed a neutral and trusted institution dedicated to ensuring AI development remains aligned with human values and public benefit.

This shared commitment to ethical, transparent, and accountable AI laid the foundation for ARAI.

From its beginning, ARAI was designed to be more than an organization — it is a global movement. Today, we continue to grow as a hub for education, collaboration, and leadership in responsible artificial intelligence.
